CNN:

CNN:
Your country was hit by a devastating earthquake, tsunami and then nuclear disaster. Your country’s still going through so much at the moment. How does that make you feel?

Miyazaki:
I had expected some-thing might happen I didn’t Know quite what but I didn’t think it would happen in the northeastern pert of Japan; I thought it might happen to Tokyo.
What happened to the nuclear plant is something I didn’t expect.
People in Japan have experienced many tsunamis and various earth-quakes throughout the ages. And I experienced the American air raids during the American air raids during the war. So I think the latest disaster shocked Japan’s youth the most. But it is still very painful for everyone.
